BroBot now phones the host and interprets between languages

Since 21 October 2026, BroBot can phone the host before guiding a visitor, and a new interpreter mode translates live between languages.

On 21 October 2026 we added two capabilities to BroBot: phoning the host before guiding a visitor, and an interpreter mode in the voice assistant that translates live between languages.

BroBot notices visitors arriving and greets them. When a visitor asks to be taken to a meeting room or an office, BroBot can let the host know before it sets off: by phone call, WhatsApp message or push notification. A phone call reaches the host without them having to look at a screen. BroBot then tells the visitor that their host has been informed and starts guiding: it leads at walking pace, waits for the person following it and, if needed, takes the elevator to another floor.

Greeting, notifying and guiding thus become one flow. The host can get ready while the visitor is still on the way, and the visitor walks knowing they are expected.

Interpreter mode is part of BroBot's voice assistant. The assistant holds a natural conversation in Turkish on any topic and keeps its answers short; the four-microphone array on the robot's head finds the direction of a voice and removes echo. In interpreter mode, BroBot translates a conversation live between people who speak different languages. For a reception that welcomes guests in several languages, a conversation can start without first looking for a language in common.
